open scissors

LOOKALIKE- Don't get the 'open scissors' confused with the nail radical (丁)which has a mutant version that looks like this:

You can tell them apart because the NAIL has an OVERHANG on the right: the head of the nail!

OK - here is a warning. . . starting now, there are going to be hella lookalikes, even more than usual. As usual,I've tried to group them side-by-side so you can compare them easily and see the differences. Once you memorize the differences then you won't be so confused by them. After about 200 kanji, it calms down a little. So don't panic. . .
