迫 press upon

1) xxx を 迫る :To put pressure on someone to do XXX; to threaten to do xxx to someone.

2)　 に　迫る： NI is trickier - it has two uses.

2a) YYY に　迫る = approaching YYY. (Near-CD quality, nigh-invulnerable, etc)

2b ZZZ に　迫る = to threaten Mr. or Mrs. ZZZ.

In other words, を迫る refers to WHAT you're threatening to do, and に迫る refers to WHO you are threatening. OK? KANA
